Nelson Arts & Heritage Festival 2010 OUR TOWN
performed by james murry & blu and kelly hopkins
TNT PLAYHOUSE September 30 at 8pm

Storyteller James Murray and singer/songwriters Blu and Kelly
Hopkins weave together stories and songs about the men
and women of their community -the people who live there
and those who are remembered long after they’re gone.
James Murray has won the highly acclaimed Jack Webster
Award and the Ron Miller Storytelling Award. Blu Hopkins
received the Okanagan Music Award for Bluegrass Artist Of
the Year in 2007 and the BCIMA Award for Bluegrass Band Of
The Year in 2008. He has been nominated for Folk Roots Artist
of the Year, Bluegrass Artist of the Year, Male Performer of the
Year, Songwriter of the Year and Album of the Year.
Bravo to storyteller James Murray for his beautiful gift to CBC
listeners. Lorne Reimer, Friday AM
Great songs...I was reminded of
Stan Rogers with a little
Lightfoot thrown in...
